KazMunaiGaz EP raises nine-month oil production

Moscow—Kazakhstan’s KazMunaiGaz Exploration Production, the upstream arm of stateowned KazMunaiGaz, produced 9.2 million mt (250,000 b/d) of crude in January-September, an increase of 1.3%, despite the continued depletion of resources at its maturing fields. KazMunaiGaz EP’s key fully owned assets, UzenMunaiGaz and EmbaMunaiGaz, produced 6 million mt of crude over the nine-month period, up 3.5% year on year, the company said in a statement Wednesday.
