KazMunaiGaz EP raises 2007 crude production by 12%

Almaty, Kazakhstan—KazMunaiGaz Exploration Production, the upstream arm of Kazakhstan’s state-owned KazMunaiGaz, said January 22 its average production in 2007 rose almost 12% to 216,910 b/d, boosted mostly by the company’s acquired interests in upstream ventures KazGerMunai and CITIC Canada Energy.
