PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing seedling-raising culture soil that is made of a material having excellent biodegradability and achieves both of excellent workability and excellent solidification, and a production kit used for the production method and culture soil mixture, and seedling-raising culture soil obtained by the production method.;SOLUTION: A method for producing seedling-raising culture soil includes blending a culture soil base material, a polyvalent cation salt of alginic acid, and a monovalent cation salt of alginic acid.
