US' Noble makes new 1.3 Tcf Israeli gas find

Jerusalem-The US' Noble Energy and its Israeli partner Delek Group have made anoth- er natural gas discovery offshore Israel, with the new resources initially estimated at 1.2- 1.3 Tcf, the companies said February 5. The gas strike by the Tanin-1 exploration well, located about 120 km west of Haifa, is the seventh such discovery to date by the Noble-led exploration partnership.
