Partners to double Seaway Pipeline capacity

Houston—Enbridge and Enterprise said theywill expand the capacity of their Cushing,Oklahoma, to Freeport, Texas, Seaway Pipe-line by another 450,000 b/d to more than850,000 b/d of crude oil.The expanded Seaway line is expected tobe in service by mid-2014, the partners saidin a statement late March 26.Enbridge and Enterprise said they securedenough binding commitments from ship-pers in a recently concluded open season toenable them to proceed with the expansion ofthe Seaway line.
