Rockhopper inks deal to search for more falkland oil

London-The UK's Rockhopper Exploration said October 12 it has agreed to farm into a license held by fellow Falkland explorer Desire Petroleum, which it believes has an extension of Rockhopper's landmark Sea Lion oil discovery. Rockhopper said, depending on financing and approvals, it will farm into part of license PL004 in the North Falklands basin, an area expected to have two drilling prospects: Jayne and Beverley.
