Iran Revolutionary Guards quit South Pars

Assaluyeh, Iran-Khatam al-Anbiya, the construction arm of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), has pulled out of multibillion dollar projects to develop Iran’s giant offshore South Pars gas field in an apparent bid to avoid stalling Iran’s plan to develop the field’s massive gas reserves after the IRGC and its affiliates were placed on a US list of banned companies.
