US’ Denbury Resources says 2008 reserves grew 29%

New York-US independent Denbury Resources said February 2 its proved reserves at year-end 2008 were 250.4 million barrels of oil equivalent, a 29% gain from the end of 2007. The reserves consisted of 179 million barrels of crude oil, condensate and natural gas liquids, and 428 Bcf of natural gas, the company said in a statement. The company noted that some 13.8 million boe was excluded from its reserves count due to lower commodity prices at the end of the year.
