Progress in US Gulf helps Chevron boost production

New York -Chevron said in an interim report September 27 its US liquids and natural gas production in the third quarter through August increased 1.4% from the full second quarter, to 779,000 boe/d, largely due to the continued progress on storm restoration work in the Gulf of Mexico.
