PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage the difference in each production lot of a production process as seen from a reference production process.;SOLUTION: In a STEP 1, data about each number of lots in process or the like is received. In a STEP 3, to the number of lots in process of the final process, the number of lots in process of the previous production process is added, and additions are similarly made thereafter to calculate the cumulative number of lots in process. In a STEP 5, to the reference number of lots of the final process the number of reference lots of the previous production process is added and additions are similarly made thereafter to calculate the cumulative number of reference lots. In a STEP 7, a reference production process including the cumulative number of reference lots of the same value as the cumulative number of lots in process in each production process is determined. In a STEP 9, the difference between each production process and the corresponding reference production process is calculated. In a STEP 11, a new order of production in process is allocated starting from production lots with the greater difference of production processes.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
