Chevron, Talos unveil production-boosting, exploration projects in US Gulf

Houston-Chevron and Talos Energy on Thursday unveiled separately Gulf of Mexico production-enhancing and exploratory projects likely to bode well for future output in the region. Chevron plans to boost production at its St. Malo deepwater field through a waterflood, while Talos has transacted individual deals with BP and ExxonMobil for what it called “new exploration opportunities” in the region.
