The premium for Singapore jet fuel shot through the roof Friday,setting a new high of 2.15/barrel,up 75 cents/b on the day after strong bidding from Shell.This surpassed the previous high of 2.02/b set in April 2004.Jet kerosene loaded in Singapore to 131.93/b at close,also an all-time high.Shell emerged Friday with a bid at an opening price at MOPS plus 1.20/b for 100,000 barrels of jet fuel loading over April 19-23 during the Market On Close assessment process.Shell then raised it to as high as MOPS plus 2.10/b,though without finding a seller.
