Hess is to more than double its jet storage capacity at an oil products storage terminal in the Thames Estuary near London amid continued jet supply shortages to the UK's main airports,a company official said Friday.Under the plan,Hess is to convert the existing 300,000 cu m of product storage capacity to jet fuel tanks at Oikos storage terminal on Canvey Island,Essex,where it imports and distributes jet within the UK.The site can currently accommodate 120,000 cu m of jet fuel with the remainder ready for chemicals,lubricants,waxes,hard oils,and other specialist products.
