Gasoline:China seen cutting gasoline exports

China is said to have slashed exports of low-octane unleaded by as much as three to seven cargoes in September,amid an acute shortage at the pumps in the south since early August,trading sources said Friday.China is said to ship out 15-21 medium range cargoes monthly,with one trader estimating the breakdown as:ChinaOil and West Pacific Petrochemical Co in the north exporting about 350,000mt of gasoline each month,while Sinopec's refineries in the south exports another 150,000-200,000 mt of unleaded.On average,"China is able to export 500,000mt of gasoline every month...l think [it will export] 200,000mt less for September [because of the gasoline shortage" the trader said Tuesday.
