MinFin targets for precious metals, gemstone sales unchanged for 2013-2014

The Russian Finance Ministry has left its projections unchanged for revenues from sales of state reserves of precious metals and gemstones in 2013-2014, the draft budget for 2013 and the planning period of 2014-2015, posted on the ministry's website on September 18, shows.The targets for revenues from such sales set in last year's financial plan have therefore not been reduced, despite the slump in demand on the diamond market and weaker prices for palladium. The average palladium prices dropped 8% year-on-year in the first half of 2012.
