Aggressive drilling, new prospects to build on success of Ampella's Batie West project

Proven explorer Ampella Mining (ASX: AMX) is continuing to build on the success it has found at the Batie West project, regarded as the largest single undeveloped resource in Burkina Faso (at 1g/t cut-off), as it starts an aggressive drill programme to highlight the prosperity of the area. With a newly restructured Board and Management team and a strong cash position, Ampella is in a good position to further exploit the upside to its Batie West project in 2013. In recognition of the company's progression, Burkina Faso's Minister for Mines, along with a delegation of 70 VIPs, visited the Batie West Gold project site in October to inspect the facilities. The Minister was encouraged by what he saw and keenly awaits the continued advancement of the project.
