UAN: Americas seeing the most activity

All eyes are on the Americas, as increasing UAN availability globally continues to find a home in those regions. Argentina will see a continuing trend in the next two months, with at least three more shipments of UAN, before there is a lull in November. This is predominantly for the corn application season. According to CRU's agriculture demand analysts, the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange forecast a 25% rise year-on-year in corn plantings to 4.5 million hectares. The increase has also been underpinned by farmers' expectations of high returns due to a change in export tax policies.
