Europe: DAP imports slightly down in 2016

DAP imports from January through August for major European DAP buying regions were down 4.0% year on year at 1.1 million mt, according to new data from IHS GTA. France imported 274,161 mt DAP between January and September, largely flat on the same period in 2015. Imports from Russia/Lithuania increased 14% to 159,943 mt, while imports from Tunisia increased to 41,591 mt from 14,634 mt. Imports from Morocco declined to 18,741 mt from 69,056 mt.
