Morocco: Imports drop in August but still up YTD

Moroccos August imports of sulphur were down 7% year on year at 429,763 mt, though the January-August volume was still up 9% at 3.37 million mt. The main source of August tonnes was the UAE, which supplied 211,381 mt. Moroccos imports from the UAE for the first eight months of the year increased 49% to 1.48 million mt, comprising a 44% share of total imports.
