Brazil to offer up mineral exploration areas

Brazil's government is planning to offer up as many as 22,000 mineral exploration areas in the first half of 2017, the country's geological service (CPRM) said on October 19 according to Reuters. The country is also planning on selling nine large strategic mining projects including the Miriti phosphate deposit in Pernambuco and Paraiba states.
