The method involves measuring an operation field to be explored by geophysical measurement processes for determination of exploration pattern for a bore hole. The geophysical measurement processes are combined a search model. The exploration pattern is defined by the search model for a geophysical positioning unit depending on a presettable positioning probability, where the exploration pattern is defined on the basis of range of positioning unit. Mineral deposit is measured with measurement processes for different measured variable.
