US Gulf: CF says new plant weeks away

CF Industries' new ammonia plant at Donaldsonville, Louisiana is "within a few weeks" of being mechanically complete, the company said this week. Once that plant is operational and ammonia barges are built to move ammonia through Tampa the market will begin adjusting to a new supply chain that meets much of Mosaic's input needs for MicroEssentials, DAP and MAP production.
