Keppel-Rosneft-MHWirth pact

Singapore’s Keppel Corp has signed a sharehold- ers agreement with Russian operator Rosneft and Norwegian drilling equipment firm MHWirth to set up a Singapore joint venture company. The new firm “will establish a design and engi- neering centre in the Russian Federation, with ini- tial projects from Rosneft for work related to shal- low water platforms”, Keppel Offshore and Marine said, adding that it will also look for work from other Russian and international customers.
