Statoil wins Nicaraguan blocks

Norway’s Statoil has been awarded four licences offshore Nicaragua’s Pacific coast – its first blocks in the country. The blocks cover a total area of around 16,000sq km in “the largely unexplored Sandino Basin”, Statoil said.
