Italy’s Eni has signed an agreement with stateowned PetroVietnam for two Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs) for exploration of Blocks 116 and 124 offshore Vietnam. Block 116 covers an area of around 5,000sq km in the Song Hong Basin at water depths ranging from 10-120m (33-394ft). The PSC, 100% owned by Eni, provides for an exploration period of seven years divided into three phases.
