Eni Chief Executive Claudio Descalzi signed on Monday two production sharing contracts in Hanoi for Vietnam's offshore exploration Blocks 116 and 124 with state PetroVietnam President and Chief Executive Do Van Hau. The 116 Block covers 5,000 square kilometers in the Song Hong Basin, in water depths of up to 120 meters, while Block 124 covers 6,000 sq km in the Phu Khanh Basin, in water depths of up to 2,600 meters. The PSCs' seven-year exploration periods will be subdivided into three phases.
