Roc kicks off China wells

Roc Oil has spudded the first of two explorationwells in Beibu Gulf Block 22/12 offshore China.The first well, WZ12-10-1, is targeting the T42and Weizhou West formations, adjacent to theWZ12-8 East field of the WZ12-8 developmentarea.The development area has been expanded tofully include this prospect, adding approximately8.8sq km area, making the total new WZ12-8development area 25.7 66.6sq km, said Roc.
