Deepwater Brazil oil find

Brazil's Petrobras has "successfully verified the presence of oil" in the deepwater Ceará Basin with the 1-BRSA-1080-CES (1-CES-158) well. The well, also called Pecem, lies 76km offshore the county of Paracuru, on the Ceará state coast, at a water depth of 6,985ft (2,129m). The Pecem well's current depth is 14,469ft (4,410m) and the planned total depth is 18,046ft (5,500m).
