Canada's Tag Oil has hit pay dirt at three wells on its Cheal prospect in the Taranaki Basin, New Zealand. Tag's Cheal-B6, Cheal-A9 and Cheal A-10 wells each flowed at around 200 b/d in addition to asso- ciated gas after drilling to depths of around 4,593ft (1,400m). Each well is forecast to be put into pro- duction in the next three months.
