Oilex has started drilling the Cambay-76H horizon-tal in the onshore Cambay Production SharingContract (PSC) in Gujurat state, India.“The Cambay-76H ‘proof of concept’ well willevaluate the production potential of the Y Zoneinterval of the extensive Eocene tight reservoirs inthe onshore Cambay PSC,” said Oilex.It is estimated that the well, which includes a2,001ft (610m) lateral section, will take around 35days to drill and complete.Oilex has started drilling a 17.5-inch hole and adepth of 3,609ft (1,100m) is set as the kick offpoint for deviation. Planned total depth is 9,466ft(2,885m).
