DNO’s Yemen double

Norway’s DNO has discovered oil in two wells drilled in Block 47 and Block 53 in Yemen. The Yaalen-3 appraisal well in Block 47 intercepted two oil-bearing intervals with a 66ft (20m) combined net pay. Yaalen-3 was drilled to a total depth of 6,227ft (1,898m) to test the Yaalen and Sharnah oil discoveries.
