Western Australia has offered to renew the leases covering the gas-condensate fields that feed the Woodside Petroleum-led Browse floating LNG project after agreeing the terms of a domestic gas supply deal. The state government inked a deal with the joint venture to reserve the equivalent of 15% of the gas produced from the state's share of Torosa, the largest of the scheme's three offshore gas fields.
