Woodside Inks LNG Supply Deal with Germany’s Uniper for 13 Years

Woodside Energy Trading Singapore Pte Ltd. has secured a heads of agreement (HOA) to supply an increasing amount of natural gas over 13 years to Germany’s Uniper Global Commodities SE. Initially, the Australian gas giant plans to provide Uniper with up to 0.5 million metric tons/year (mmty) beginning in 2021, increasing to around 1 mmty in 2025. The HOA, signed at the Gastech 2019 conference underway in Houston, builds on previous LNG supply deals with Uniper, Woodside CEO Peter Coleman said.
