OMV Posts Higher Output in Q3

Austrian oil and gas group OMV raised production by 5% in the third quarter from the second as progress in Libya and Norway offset lower volumes in Austria and Romania. OMV said on Monday production was 311,000 boe/d, up from 297,000 in the second quarter and 275,000 a year earlier. Its refining margins jumped to $4.90/bbl from $1.92 in the second quarter.
