India's state-run Gail India has signed an initial pact with Socar to jointly pursue LNG opportunities through capacity booking, LNG procurement and the promotion of LNG projects globally. Both companies will also cooperate over LNG marketing, sourcing and shipping requirements, as well as pursuing global upstream opportunities and joint investment in petrochemical projects, India's gas pipeline utility said on Monday.
