Karoon Gas Falls on Brazil Well

Karoon Gas Australia on Wednesday an- nounced a light-oil discovery in well 1-BR- SA-870-SPS (1-SPS-76) drilled on the Maruja prospect in Block S-M-1352, one of two blocks in Brazil's offshore Santos Basin in which Karoon recently acquired an interest. The firm did not disclose flow rates and said it will continue drilling to explore deep- er objectives in the post-salt section.
