Poland's PKN Orlen says it has signed a deal with the Ukrainian environmental min- istry to jointly explore for and produce hy- drocarbons in Ukraine, both conventional and unconventional. The Polish firm said it will either be grant- ed new licenses or jointly develop reserves already appraised by its Ukrainian partners.
