Vietnam's 140,000 b/d Dung Quat refinery will be shut for repairs from Tuesday until Jan. 13, state Petrovietnam said. It is the latest in a series of setbacks for the country's first refinery - which is expected to meet one-third of local product demand - since starting up in February. Dung Quat was shut in August because of a faulty valve associated with a gasoline-making fluid catalytic cracking unit (IOD Aug.23,p3). It was set to restart a month later and reach full capacity by October (IOD Sep.29,p6).
