BAM International Has Finished Building the Infrastructure for the Aqaba LNG Terminal

BAM International, the subsidiary of the Dutch group Royal BAM Group responsible for activities outside Europe, has completed the construction of the Aqaba liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal and handed it over to Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) on 23 June, two months ahead of schedule. The project cost ?65 million and was undertaken by a partnership between Irish-based BAM Contractors and the local firm MAG Jordanian Engineering and Contracting Company under the terms of a contract signed in 2013 (AOG, 16 Nov., 2013). The civil engineering work was carried out by BAM Infraconsult.
