Iran’s Production and Export Capacities: Full Ahead Both

As Arab Oil & Gas (AOG) has pointed out on several occasions in these columns, Iran has great hopes of stepping up the production and export capacities of its hydrocarbon and petrochemical industries. The country has considerable potential in both these sectors, of course; it is hoping to have the millstone of international sanctions removed in the near future; and it intends to prepare very actively for the time when that happens so as to be battle ready the day after sanctions are lifted, thanks to increased investments by domestic players and to making itself more attractive to international oil companies, and especially the largest of them.
