Construction of one-dimensional (1D) nanostructures based on self-assembly of small molecules has received much attention. Supramolecular gels derived from the 1D self-assembly of low-molecular-weight organogelators (LMOGs) have potential applications in various areas, such as drug delivery systems, biomaterials, electronic devices, and templates for nanostructures.
