The π-conjugated polymers (π-CPs), such as poly(p-phenyl-ene) vinylene (PPV), poly(p-phenylene ethynylene) (PPE), and poly(p-phenylene) (PPP), have been received extensive attention recently because of their promising optoelectronic applications in light-emitting diodes (LEDs), field-effect transistors, photovoltaic cells, and bio/chemical sensors.
