Fully automated welding,including autogenous orbital welding,is the fastest growing segment of the welding industry.In fact,industry experts esimate 30 per cent of all welding will be fully automated by 2020.As a result,many current manual weld operators may very well be expected to learn fully automated orbital welding,while new recruits to the field will likely have to be proficient in advanced welding techniques.
