Xanthan gum supply thickens

AMID STRONG global competition,CP Kelco is further investing in the xanthan gum market by expanding capacity in China.After its recent acquisition of Chinese xanthan gum producer Shandong Gold Millet Biological Products,CP Kelco plans to increase the capacity of Gold Millet's facility in Shandong province up to 12,000 tonnes per year,from the reported current maximum capacity of 6,000 tonnes.
