Cabot begins work on black masterbatch plant in China

US-based speciality chemicals firm, Cabot Corporation, has begun construction of a new black masterbatch plant at its Tianjin facility located in Tianjin Economic Development Area (TEDA) in China. Cabot will invest approximately US$20-mn to build the master-batch plant that will have a nameplate capacity of approximately 45,000-tpa, which can be further expanded to 80,000-tpa in the future.
