India pushes to save Asean FTA,prunes negative list to 560

To lure Asean back to the negotiating table for the proposed free trade agreement (FTA),India has drastically cut the list of items that it wants to keep outside the ambit of the pact from 854 to 560.New Delhi's gesture comes almost a month after Malaysian trade minister Rafidah Aziz announced "suspension" of Asean's FTA talks with India.
