Dow Chemical Acquires Three Epoxy Systems Companies

Dow Chemical says it has acquired two epoxy systems companies in the U.S.and one in Europe,in a move in line with its previously announced plans to invest in downstream performance businesses.Dow's purchases of UPPC (Baltringen,Germany),Poly-Carb (Solon,OH),and GNS Technologies (Roberta,GA) are each expected to be completed in 30-45 days.Financial terms were not disclosed.
