Ecolab says it has lowered its fourth-quarter and full-year 2005 earnings estimates by 4 cts/share,(10.4 million)and 10 cts/share,respectively,because of a charge resulting from an accounting change for expensing stock options.Fourth-quarter estimates have been lowered to 26 cts-28 cts/share,which includes a 1-ct/share charge related to repatriation of foreign earnings under the American Jobs Creation Act(AJCA),the company says.Full-year 2005 estimates have been lowered to 1.22-1.24/share,including a 1-ct/share AJCA charge.
