摘要

A transcutaneous energy transmission using electromagnetic induction through the skin is a powerful way to drive a totally-implantable artificial heart (TIAH). Transcutaneous energy transmission system (TETS) must be supplying the energy to a TIAH continuously, and its malfunction and functional halts caused by electromagnetic interference should not be allowed. In this paper, some immunity tests for the TETS against radiated and conducted emissions are conducted using a phantom electrically equivalent to human body, and the currents induced in the phantom are measured.
