摘要

Catalytic functions of group 8-10 transition metalcatalysts, such as Pd and Pt, are greatly modified upon theformation of alloy phases. Over Pd and Pt alloy catalysts,dehydrogenation of alcohols to esters, steam reforming ofmethanol and hydrogenolysis of esters to alcohols occurselectively. The difference of reaction mechanisms on Pd alloysand metallic Pd is discussed.
